Personnel Changes in the TSO Help Desk
After nine years working with the College of Computing, Doug Conley has decided to leave the College to pursue other opportunities. His last day in TSO was Friday, August 21, 2009. Doug has been a tremendous asset to TSO, having served as both Help Desk Manager and Academic Lead in his time here. We wish him well in his future endeavors.
Doug's departure leaves a vacancy in the Help Desk. David Mercer has stepped up to fill that vacancy and will now be working out of the Help Desk in CCB 148. David’s previous experience in Help Desk along with his experience in Networking and Windows Systems Administration will be beneficial in supporting our customers. David will step into Doug's role to oversee the Academic and Instructional labs as well as provide desktop support to CCB faculty and staff. Tonya Gordon will remain the interface for the CoC community regarding academic issues including Technology Fee proposals and instructional lab and resource requirements.
