WHO IS AFFECTED BY THIS INTERRUPTION?

At times, users of MyGaTech e-mail, calendar and contacts

Effects to these users are:

Users of MyGaTech are experiencing intermittent login problems,

slowness or system unresponsiveness.

WHAT IS HAPPENING?

Periodically, users are experiencing "502 Gateway Error" during the login

process.  System administrators continue to investigate the problem and

are working with the vendor to analyze system performance data, rollback

configuration changes, identify the source, and correct the problem.  As

an interim system fix, the system is being restarted to temporarily clear

the problem when performance monitors indicate that the problem has

reoccurred.

HOW LONG WILL THE SYSTEM BE DOWN/SLOW?

MyGaTech is up; however, intermittent login problems are occurring with

users.  The problems began on Thursday, 10/29 around 4:00pm and continue

to occur every 10-12 hours.  OIT is actively monitoring the performance

and will take the current recommended action and restart services as

needed based on system indicators until the root cause is isolated and the

vendor provides a solution.

WHEN WILL THE NEXT STATUS UPDATE BE PROVIDED?

The next status update will be provided by 6:00 pm today.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO WHEN THE SYSTEM IS AVAILABLE AGAIN?

Business as usual in most cases.  However, if users receive login errors

(500, 501, 502 or blank screens), repeat the login process.  Mail sent to

MyGaTech users during the period of this outage will be queued in the

central systems and delivered after the system is in operation again.

STATUS UPDATE:

MyGaTech e-mail, calendar and contacts

WHAT IS HAPPENING?
The My GaTech service has shown steady performance improvement over the
last 24 hours. On Thursday, October 29th, a BigIP (load
