OIT - Apple Maintenance Program (AMP)
The Office of Information Technology participates in the Board of Regents' Apple Maintenance Program (AMP). This program is made available to GT faculty and staff to purchase OS X, iLife and iWork at a discounted rate and install them on institute-owned machines only. Each license purchase includes 3 years of maintenance, including any new releases for the OS. The software is distributed through OIT by pre-order only. An order form must be completed and signed by a staff member in CoC with budgetary authority. You can obtain the form and further information from the OIT Software Distribution web page. The account you specify on the form will then be billed for each end-user seat that is ordered. Please ensure that all fields are completed as requested (failure to complete all fields of the form may result in an unfulfilled or delayed order).
Installation media may be purchased ($8) for each end-user station. It is important to note that Apple restricts the copying or burning of their installation media for distribution purposes however, the contract does allow each end-user to make a copy for back-up purposes only.
