Wireless/Outland Windows Printing without VPN Access
To print to a CoC print server,
you must be attached to the GT network. If you are not, you will need
to connect in, such as through LAWN or VPN.
- Select Start - Run and enter in the fully qualified domain name of the print server and printer,
e.g. \\ccprint.cc.gatech.edu\rosalyn. Note: Some users have experienced problems using ccprint. If you
have problems when adding a printer using ccprint, substitute madison instead (e.g. \\madison.cc.gatech.edu\rosalyn).
\\ccprint.cc.gatech.edu\rosalyn
- At this point, you should be requested to authenticate. Input your CoC user login credentials in the format cc\username, where username is your CC domain username, and your CC domain password.
- Your default printer is identified in the Printers and Faxes folder with a red check. To change the default printer, open the printers folder using Start - Printers and Faxes, right click on the printer and select Set as Default Printer .
