Wireless/Outland Windows Printing without VPN Access

To print to a CoC print server, you must be attached to the GT network.  If you are not, you will need to connect in, such as through LAWN or VPN.

  1. Select Start - Run and enter in the fully qualified domain name of the print server and printer, e.g. \\ccprint.cc.gatech.edu\rosalyn.  Note:  Some users have experienced problems using ccprint.  If you have problems when adding a printer using ccprint, substitute madison instead (e.g.  \\madison.cc.gatech.edu\rosalyn).

    \\ccprint.cc.gatech.edu\rosalyn
    • At this point, you should be requested to authenticate.  Input your CoC user login credentials in the format cc\username, where username is your CC domain username, and your CC domain password.
  2. Your default printer is identified in the Printers and Faxes folder with a red check.  To change the default printer, open the printers folder using Start - Printers and Faxes, right click on the printer and select Set as Default Printer .
