Wipe and Activate BlackBerries

Wiping Your BlackBerry

We recommend users wipe their BlackBerry device and perform Enterprise Activation while the antenna signal strength is at least 3 bars.

Wiping your device will remove all settings and any third party applications. Any specific settings (i.e. additional email account configurations) will have to be reconfigured and any third party applications will have to be reinstalled.

Enterprise Activation

Please note that BlackBerry Enterprise Services were retired March, 2014.

Users must be setup for an Enterprise Activation on the BES server prior to attempting the activation.  Contact the TSO Help Desk to get this setup.  It should take approximately 15 to 30 minutes for the enterprise activation to complete.  After the service books are installed and your device activates, the device will begin to sync calendar, email, and contacts with the Exchange environment.
