WHAT’S HAPPENING?
OIT Network Services will be performing an upgrade to the main networking switches in KACB and TSRB.

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
Tuesday, August 9th - KACB will be upgraded from 5am to 6am, TSRB will be upgraded from 6am to 7am.

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
KACB and TSRB switches (currently N9K-9396s) will be upgraded to new N9K-C9336s in order to provide 100G connectivity to and within these buildings.

WHO IS AFFECTED?
During the upgrade, computers, the data center in Klaus, WIFI access points, cameras, classroom equipment, building automation systems, door controllers, network appliances, parking gate readers, and any other networked devices in KACB and TSRB will lose network connection. The TSRB data center will *not* be impacted during the 6am to 7am outage.

Affected services:
All wired and wireless networking in KACB and TSRB

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
All networking should recover automatically following the upgrade. If there are any issues following this maintenance window, please reach out to the HelpDesk.

WHO SHOULD YOU CONTACT FOR QUESTIONS?
Feel free to contact the TSO Help Desk (CCB 212, 404.894.7065, helpdesk@cc.gatech.edu).
