The general purpose computing server cc-salo.cc.gatech.edu had a potential vulnerability for a root compromise. Therefore, on June 27, 2008, at 5:30 PM, the system was rebooted from CD and checked for compromise. No compromise was found, so the vulnerability was patched, and the system was restarted. It was again providing services at 5:50 PM.
