Starting today, January 14th through Wednesday, January 16th, Microsoft will be on-site to assist in rebuilding our new Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES). This is due to calendaring issues that some users have been experiencing. As a result of the rebuild, all BES users will have to be transitioned to the new server. We expect this transition to begin on Tuesday, January 15th at 6:00pm and last until Wednesday, January 16th at noon. During the transition, calendar, email, task and contact services on your Blackberry device will be unavailable. After the transition is completed, we expect Blackberry services to return to normal; however, it is possible that existing Blackberry devices will have to be wiped and reactivated. If so, we will post additional information on our website (support.cc.gatech.edu), contact the affected users, and expedite the reactivation process through the Help Desk.
