Between approximately 4:05 PM and 4:20 PM, Tuesday, July 29, 2014.


WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
SoX, one of Georgia's Tech's Internet Service Providers, experienced a peering issue, resulting in the outage.


WHO WAS AFFECTED?
Anyone attempting to access external resources from on-campus or attempting to access campus resources from off-campus.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action should be required.


HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN RESOLVED?
Yes.  SoX contacted the peer, and the routing issue was corrected.
