WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
A multicast storm overwhelmed the College's uplink to campus networking, causing a brief disruption to wired connectivity. Connectivity was restored automatically, and a deprecated command was removed from the main College router to help prevent future issues.
WHO IS AFFECTED?
All users connected via wired networking experienced a brief disruption.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action is required. Networking should recover automatically.
