WHAT’S HAPPENING?
OIT will perform a failover test of the GT Campus border firewall.

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
Sunday, September 29th, from 8am-9am.

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
In an effort to validate the new redundant design of the GT networking core, OIT will failover their border firewall to its high availability counterpart to ensure network traffic flows as expected, and then fail back to the primary unit.

WHO IS AFFECTED?
There may be brief interruptions to campus services for up to 10 minutes while these changes are made.
