Update from the OIT outage notice:

[Identified] One of the distribution routers that serves the Rich data center experienced issues beginning around 9:22am today. One half of the redundant pair failed causing connectivity issues for devices connected to either half of the pair. Connectivity stabilized around 9:50am, but the router pair remains in a degraded state. Network Services has engaged the vendor and is actively working towards a resolution.

Networking across campus is experiencing intermittent delays or outages.

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?

OIT was first made aware of users experiencing issues at 9:29am, 8/1/19.

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?

WHO IS AFFECTED?

Users on campus may experience issues with any service requiring networking. TSO is aware of issues with:
eduroam
College websites
VPN connectivity

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?

No user action is currently required. TSO will update this notice once more information is available.
