The campus network experienced an outage ( offsite connectivity, wired and wireless )
WHEN DID IT HAPPEN?
Friday, October 19th, at 1:15pm. Networking was restored around 1:25pm.
WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
The outage was due to a peering issue with the CenturyLink ISP. More information can be found here - https://status.gatech.edu/incidents/cz8fcpyqw9wh
WHO IS AFFECTED?
All users with active networking connections, as well as users off campus trying to connect to GT resources.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action is required. Connectivity should have restored automatically.
