WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
A service account password silently expired.
WHO WAS AFFECTED?
Users attempting to start a campus VPN session during the outage. Already established sessions should not have been affected.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action should be required.
HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN RESOLVED?
Yes. OIT restored the service.
