The cause is being investigated.


WHO WAS AFFECTED?
TSO is in the process of shutting down all of the servers in CCB 247 and the HPCF.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
Users should save their work and be prepared for network interruption of core CoC services.


HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN RESOLVED?

UPDATE:
GT Facilities was able to restore cooling to the CoC server room at 12:35 PM, December 17.  TSO is in the process of turning the affected servers back on and expect to have most services restored within 30 minutes.  TSO was able to stabilize the temperature of the room without shutting down administrative or critical services, so only instructional and research servers were impacted by this outage.  Affected services included the killerbees, Drupal sites, and the wikis.
