The 2nd floor of the CCB will be without power.


WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
Beginning at 6:00 AM, Thursday, September 1, 2011. The power should be restored by 6:20 AM, September 1.


WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
To complete the CCB 247 power renovation project.


WHO IS AFFECTED?
All computers, printers, and office lighting on the 2nd floor of the CCB. Servers in the CCB 247 data center will remain up, but their network connectivity will be down. Therefore, users of the systems and services housed in CCB 247, listed below, will be affected.

Affected hosts/services:
- CS equipment (factor, gomez, himalaya)
- CompArch resources (pasta, sushi clusters, sampras)
- CERCS resources (vogue, awing, warp, maquis, polymoa, sith, versace)
- GTISC server racks
- CSE resources (sunbuzz, ion, woolybear, pele, jinx)
- General resources (killerbee clusters, ARA - academic remote access, research server backups)
- HSI server rack


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
During the maintenance, please do not attempt to login to the hosts/services that will be unavailable. Faculty and Staff who work out of the 2nd floor of the CCB should shut their computers off before leaving for the day on Wednesday, August 31.
