CCB will have a full building power outage.

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
Friday, Jan 24 5PM - TSO will power down servers
Saturday, Jan 25 AM - Early in the morning switch gear maintenance and breaker installation will begin
Sunday, Jan 26 PM - Late in the evening switch gear maintenance and breaker installation will complete
Monday, Jan 27 7AM - TSO will begin powering up servers
Monday, Jan 27 by 9AM - TSO will send an update on progress of Datacenter power-on
Monday, Jan 27 by 12PM - TSO will send an update on the status of any systems requiring additional troubleshooting after the outage with planned timeline for restoration

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
Routine switchgear maintenance for building, and installation of new breaker bucket for permanent chiller.

WHO IS AFFECTED?
Primarily researchers and courses using resources in the CCB data center

Affected Services:
Instructional home directories
Instructional General Access Servers (killerbee1 and killerbee2 will remain online)
Research computing located in CCB

No user action is required. If you encounter issues following TSO's message at noon on Monday, January 27th, please reach out to the HelpDesk for further assistance.
