WHAT HAPPENED?
One of the network switches in the CCB Data Center went offline.


WHEN DID IT HAPPEN?
At approximately 2:25 PM, Tuesday, December 16, 2014.
 

WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
The uplink transceiver on the switch failed.


WHO WAS AFFECTED?
Users of the following systems and websites.  Uses who changed their CoC password using the online password reset form on support.cc.gatech.edu during the outage would not have had their CC AD password reset even though the form may have reported a success.

HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN RESOLVED?
Yes.  TSO replaced the uplink transceiver and the switch was again providing network connectivity by 4:35 PM, December 16, 2014.
