WHAT HAPPENED?
Wireless LAWN was partially unavailable in the CCB.

WHEN DID IT HAPPEN?
From approximately 7:00 AM until 11:35 AM on Tuesday, May 10, 2016.

WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
After the VSS scheduled network maintenance (https://support.cc.gatech.edu/alerts/coc-network-maintenance-vss), OIT did not successfully reconfigure the network to allow traffic from the LAWN wireless access points in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors of the CCB.  The wireless access points on the ground floor of the CCB were on a different VLAN and continued to provide wireless service to systems within range.

WHO WAS AFFECTED?
Wireless LAWN users in the CCB.  Ground and 1st floor users should not have noticed any impact.  Wireless access was intermittent on the 2nd floor and was largely inaccessible on the 3rd floor.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action is required.

HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN RESOLVED?
Yes.  TSO identified the issue and made the necessary configuration changes.  Full wireless access was restored to the building at 11:35 AM, May 10, 2016.
