UPDATE:
Ccsamba experienced a hardware failure.  TSO is currently moving the service to another server.  We’ll provide another update when the service is again available.

UPDATE:
The ccsamba service has been restored as of 8:15 PM, Wednesday, February 3, 2016.  The service is currently in a degraded state while the server's RAID array is rebuilt, so users may experience decreased performance while this is ongoing.  We'll provide another update when the service has returned to its normal state.

UPDATE:
The array finished rebuilding overnight.  However, another drive in the array failed, causing ccsamba to again go offline at approximately 8:00 AM, Thursday, February 4, 2016.  TSO is working to rebuild the array.  Ccsamba is currently offline while the array rebuilds to prevent additional disk load before the rebuild can completed.

UPDATE:
Shortly before the rebuild finished, another drive failed, taking down the array.  TSO is currently working to recover data.  No user data or files were lost as they're not a part of this RAID array.  We'll provide another update as we make additional progress.

UPDATE:
As of 8:50 PM, Thursday, February 4, 2016, TSO had recovered the necessary data.  The failed drive has been replaced, and the array is being rebuilt.  We'll provide another update when the service has been returned to operation.

UPDATE:
TSO continues to troubleshoot this service and plans to work on the issue over the weekend.  If you need files from your home directory and are unable to access them, please contact the TSO Help Desk.  They will assist with getting copies for you.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

UPDATE:
The ccsamba service was restored at 11:30 AM, Saturday, February 6, 2016.  After the array kept failing to successfully rebuild on its existing hardware, TSO restored the server's file system from backup to newer hardware.  After making needed configuration changes to get the backup to work with the newer hardware, the ccsamba service was restored and tested as working.  We appreciate everyone's patience as we worked through multiple hurdles to restore this service.
