From 5pm, December 17th through ~9:20am December 18th

WHY DID IT HAPPEN?

Following the server shutdown in the CCB machine room in preparation for the building-wide power outage, ccsamba was unable to reach the failover domain controller due to firewall rules. Firewall rules were changed and service was restored around 9:20am, 12/18.

WHO IS AFFECTED?

Users attempting to mount ccsamba shares.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?

No user action should be required, but users may need to unmount and remount their share if it doesn't recover automatically.
