At approximately 2:00 PM, Monday, October 6, 2008, TSO was notified that the chill water plant that provides cooling to the CCB machine room had gone offline. At the time, an ETA could not be provided for when cooling would be restored. To prevent overheating, we began shutting down servers. At approximately 2:15 PM, cooling was restored. The only server that was shutdown that would have impacted CoC users was the general access server lennon.cc.gatech.edu. This was brought back up and was again providing services at 2:20 PM, October 6.
