WHAT’S HAPPENING?
Last weekend, chiller plant work was conducted that affected KACB.  This weekend, Campus Facilities must perform major chiller plant work on the Holland Chiller Plant.  This will affect CCB comfort cooling and TSO's 247, HPCF, and 312 data centers.


WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
The maintenance window is expected to begin at 8:00 PM on Friday, January 22 , and run through 6:00 AM, Monday, January 25, 2016.  TSO will begin shutting down servers at 7:00 PM, January 22, and expects to have all services restored approximately 3 hours after the chiller plant comes back online.


WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
Campus Facilities must perform major chiller plant work on the Holland Chiller Plant.  Due to the reduced chilled water capacity, TSO must shut down non-critical servers in CCB 247, HPCF, and 312 data centers.

UPDATE:
Due to the early closing of campus today, Campus Facilities has decided to move up the chiller plant work.  As such, TSO will begin shutting down machines at 11:00 AM, January 22, 2016.  TSO was unable to get Campus Facilities to reschedule and apologizes for any inconvenience.


UPDATE:
The chiller plant maintenance was completed early.  TSO restarted most of the affected servers by 6:30 PM, Sunday, January 24, 2016.
