Some messages sent to mailing lists were not being delivered and others being inappropriately moderated.

The issues occurred July 29, 2020 from 8:00am to ~4:00pm
WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
Following the mailman server upgrade on the morning of July 29, 2020 (https://support.cc.gatech.edu/alerts/mailman-server-maintenance), it was discovered that there was a bug in the code for the application. A patch was applied and delayed/moderated mail were processed by the system. No mail was lost during the window of degraded service.
WHO IS AFFECTED?
A limited amount of mailing list users, who have submitted mail to the service.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
If you have sent an email to a list and it has not distributed, you may have received a message that your email is in moderation. The list owner will need to release the email via the web interface. Most of the messages held back have already been processed.
