On Tuesday, May 26, 2009, beginning at 5:00 PM, the directories on the home directory server trantor.cc.gatech.edu will be migrated to a newer server, rotnart.cc.gatech.edu. This will affect the home directories listed below as well as any systems that mount /usr/local from trantor. The NFS mounts on trantor will remain available after the migration (an announcement will be made when they are to be disabled), but NIS maps will be updated to point to the new server's directories. During the migration, which is expected to be completed by 8:00 PM, May 26, some systems may not properly remount the new directories and will need to be rebooted after the maintenance is complete.
