WHAT’S HAPPENING?
TSO Security will be removing entries from DNS and DVLAN for servers that have not connected for longer than 6 months, and for all other networked devices not connected for longer than 18 months. Firewall rules for these endpoints will be removed on Tuesday morning.

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
This effort is part of the Annual cleanup for improved security and administration purposes.

WHO IS AFFECTED?
Users with endpoints that have been disconnected for more 18 months. This does not include Eduroam or LAWN networks

Affected services:
DNS, network, and firewall services for affected endpoints

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
If you know of devices that have been disconnected for more than 18 months from 10/11/2023 but need their DNS/Firewall entries maintained, please contact tsosec@cc.gatech.edu. TSO Security has already pulled the list of affected devices, so simple reconnecting will not stop the removal process.

WHO SHOULD YOU CONTACT FOR QUESTIONS?
Feel free to contact the TSO Help Desk (CCB 212, 404.894.7065, helpdesk@cc.gatech.edu).
