Update: email.cc.gatech.edu had stopped listening on port 25. The server was rebooted and was tested as working. Queued email is being delivered. The VPN server was not running. It was brought back up and was tested as functional. All services provided by both servers were again available as of 1:45 PM on May 11.

At approximately 10:20 AM, Sunday, May 11, 2008, TSO became aware that one of our email servers, email.cc.gatech.edu (which also provides services as imap.cc.gatech.edu), was not accepting new email. We have also discovered that our VPN server is not currently functioning correctly. TSO staff is responding to the CCB at this time to correct the problems. Additional information will be posted as it becomes available.
