WHAT HAPPENED?
Some email going through the CoC mailheads is being delayed.


WHEN DID IT HAPPEN?
A start date has not yet been determined. The issue is ongoing.


WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
Two causes have been identified: 1) DNS resolution is intermittently failing and 2) the mailheads are also experiencing intermittent connection failures when attempting to pass email to other mailheads.


WHO WAS AFFECTED?
Users with @cc.gatech.edu email addresses.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action is required.


HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN RESOLVED?
No. A temporary workaround has been put in place for the DNS resolution while TSO works with OIT on correcting the issue. TSO is still investigating the connection failures.
