WHAT HAPPENED?
The FileMaker Pro database server ackerman.cc.gatech.edu was unable to process login requests.


WHEN DID IT HAPPEN?
From approximately 4:25 PM, Wednesday, July 6 until 9:30 AM, Thursday, July 7, 2016.


WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
The server lost its connection to the CoC domain controllers.


WHO WAS AFFECTED?
CoC faculty and staff attempting to use any of the FileMaker Pro databases.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action is required.


HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN RESOLVED?
Yes.  After rebooting ackerman, it was again able to process login requests.
