UPDATE:
TSO has traced the issue to recent Microsoft security patches that are causing stability problems with the older version of FileMaker Server installed on ackerman.  This results in authentication failures after several hours of server uptime.  TSO is working to bring up a current version of FileMaker Server on newer hardware.  In the meantime, TSO has scheduled a daily reboot of ackerman at 5:30 AM to ameliorate the authentication failures.  Until the new server is brought online and clients are updated, FileMaker Pro users should save their work in FileMaker Pro and close the program before leaving at the end of each day.
