On Tuesday, August 19, 2008, TSO will retire the server santanni.cc.gatech.edu, which provides ftp services as ftp.cc.gatech.edu. This will be replaced by a new ftp server called toonces.cc.gatech.edu. This switchover will begin at 5:30 PM and is expected to be completed by 7:00 PM on August 19. After the switchover, the cname ftp.cc.gatech.edu will be redirected to the new server, and ftp users will continue to be able to use that as they did before.
