WHAT’S HAPPENING?
The OIT Web Team will decommission the Google Search Appliance (GSA) and will contact site owners or administrators affected by this change with a list of impacted sites.
 
 
WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
Affected site owners or administrators will be contacted by September 16, 2016.
GSA will be decommissioned on December 13, 2016.
 
 
WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
Google will no longer support GSA starting in 2017.
 
 
WHO IS AFFECTED?
Owners and administrators of any GT-hosted web sites using GSA search code in their site.
 
 
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
If you are using the GSA, you can update your search code to use a new tool. Below are some suggestions provided by OIT:
