At approximately 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 7, 2008, the web server granite.cc.gatech.edu, which hosts the arc.gatech.edu web site, became unresponsive. After investigating, it was determined that the server was the victim of a Denial of Service (DoS) attack. TSO blocked the attacker's vector, and the server was again providing services at 12:20 PM on August 7.
