WHAT HAPPENED?

help.cc.gatech.edu was experiencing issues handling mail, including new tickets.

Affected servers: help.cc.gatech.edu

WHEN DID IT HAPPEN?

According to logs the issue began on Sunday, 5/31/20. Mail service was restored at 12:35PM, 6/1/20.

WHY DID IT HAPPEN?

TSO is currently investigating the root cause of the issue, but believe it to be related to the SSL certificate on the server that hosts help.cc.gatech.edu.

WHO IS AFFECTED?

Users were able to log in, but email was not being sent or received from help.cc.gatech.edu. 

Affected services: Request Tracker (help.cc.gatech.edu)

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?

TSO is currently investigating if email sent during the outage is delayed, or was dropped. 

EDIT - It looks like all email has now processed, including messages sent during the outage.
