WHAT’S HAPPENING?
TSO will upgrade the hardware and software of the killerbee general access research computing cluster. The operating system will be upgraded to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.3.

On Wednesday, August 1, 2012, between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM.
WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
The CoC received a donation from IBM of state-of-the-art equipment in support of the general purpose research computing service on the killerbee cluster.
WHO IS AFFECTED?
CoC faculty and graduate students attempting to ssh into these servers.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
Affected users should save their work and logout prior to the maintenance period. After the upgrade, TSO requests that users report any unexpected behavior to the TSO Help Desk.
