At approximately 4:30 PM, Friday, September 12, 2008, TSO became aware that the general compute server lennon.cc.gatech.edu was experiencing slow SSH response times. This would have affected CoC students, faculty, and staff who were trying to use the server. The issue was looked at and was determined to be due to a process that had consumed the entire swapfile. The process was killed, and the server was rebooted at 4:36 PM. It was again providing services at 4:50 PM, September 12.
