WHAT HAPPENED?

The virtual server hosting mailman.cc.gatech.edu experienced issues and became unresponsive. 

Affected servers: newvoreg.cc.gatech.edu

WHEN DID IT HAPPEN?

Based on server logs, the mailman service began experiencing issues around 10 AM. Service was restored at approximately 12:30 PM.

WHY DID IT HAPPEN?

TSO has investigated this issue previously and is in the process of working on a more permanent solution for the stability of this service.

WHO WAS AFFECTED?

Users attempting to send mail to mailman.cc mailing lists, or trying to access mailman.cc.gatech.edu through the web during the outage.

Mail sent to mailman lists during this outage may be delayed, or may not have been queued and may need to be resent.
