MyGaTech/Zimbra will be briefly unavailable.
 
 
WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
Between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM, Thursday, December 5, 2013.
 
 
WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
OIT will upgrade the MyGaTech backup storage.  MyGaTech will be briefly unavailable while the new storage is mounted and the service restarted.
 
 
WHO IS AFFECTED?
Users of MyGaTech/Zimbra services, including BuzzPort users, who try to access email or group/course calendars while the service is unavailable.
 
 
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action should be required.  Email sent to My GaTech/Zimbra users while the system in offline will be queued in the central systems and delivered after the system is in operation again.
