WHAT’S HAPPENING?

TSO is moving the College of Computing production networks onto new OIT provided hardware.

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?

Monday, 12/16/19, from 6PM to 10PM

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?

The new routers will be located in the North Interconnect and Rich buildings, provide additional redundancy if there is a networking failure, and allow the College to use the new Palo Alto firewalls. 

WHO IS AFFECTED?

All College networks will be migrated during the maintenance window. Each network will experience a brief 5-10 minute outage while configuration is being brought up on the new routers. 

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?

No user interaction should be needed. If networking does not recover following the outage, please try disconnecting and reconnecting your ethernet cable.
