WHAT’S HAPPENING?

Fiber paths from the new routers (see Network Maintenance on 12/30) will be configured to replace the uplink connections from CCB and KACB to campus.

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?

Starting at 8AM, brief outages lasting approximately 2 minutes will occur as each network is moved to the new uplink. Work should be completed before 9AM.

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?

The uplink is being replaced in order for the College of Computing subnets to continue working in Coda during the upcoming scheduled power outage in CCB and KACB.

WHO IS AFFECTED?

This outage will only affect Coda occupants on wired ethernet, and will not affect LAWN connections. All College of Computing wired subnets will see a brief interruption during this maintenance window.

Affected subnets: 12-14, 19, 100-102, 121-123, 126, 603, 728-729, 731, 738

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?

Users in Coda may notice brief network outages and should save work locally if possible during the maintenance window. If connectivity does not restore automatically, users may need to disconnect and reconnect their ethernet cables. If the issue persists, please contact the TSO Help Desk.

WHO SHOULD YOU CONTACT FOR QUESTIONS?
