The CoC networks were briefly without network connectivity to the GT campus.


WHEN DID IT HAPPEN?
Between approximately 12:45 PM and 12:55 PM, Wednesday, December 18, 2013.


WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
The North Interconnect router experienced a spanning tree issue which caused it to briefly become unavailable, affecting the north side of campus.


WHO WAS AFFECTED?
Academic and administrative buildings serviced by the affected router.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action should be required at this time. Users whose directories or email clients did not reconnect should reboot their systems.


HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN RESOLVED?
Yes.
