From approximately 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM, Saturday, February 18, 2017.
WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
A host on the CoC network was being DDoSed, which consumed excessive resources on the CoC firewall modules.
WHO WAS AFFECTED?
Any user attempting to access CoC network resources from outside the CoC network or any user on the CoC network attempting to access outside resources.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action is required.
HAS THE ISSUE BEEN RESOLVED?
Yes. The DDoS was blocked. After rebooting the firewall modules, the network returned to a stable state by 9:30 AM.
