WHAT HAPPENED?
Some Office 365 users may experience intermittent crashes when using Outlook 2013 or the Skype for Business clients.
 
 
WHEN DID IT HAPPEN?
Beginning at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, April 5, 2016.

 
WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
There is a code defect that was introduced.

 
WHO WAS AFFECTED?
Office 365 users utilizing Outlook 2013 or Skype for Business with the April 5, 2016, update for Outlook 2013 (KB3114941) installed.

 
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
Affected users should switch to using OWA or another email client until Microsoft can fix the issue, or they can rollback the affected patch using the instructions at http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3158521.
 
 
HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN RESOLVED?
No.  Microsoft engineers have developed a fix and are preparing the infrastructure for deployment.
