Websites hosted by OIT's web hosting service, including hosting.gatech.edu, will be briefly unavailable.
 
 
WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
On January 23, 2016, between 6:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
 
 
WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
OIT will apply patches to the operating systems of the servers supporting the web hosting service. The patching process will require a reboot of the affected servers.  While a server is rebooting, the sites hosted on that server will be unavailable.
 
 
WHO IS AFFECTED?
Anyone hosting or attempting to access sites hosted on the OIT web hosting service.
 
 
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action is required.
