WHAT’S HAPPENING? 

Emails sent through College of Computing outbound email servers since October 20, 2022 | 03:00:00 PM EST could be delayed.

Affected servers: Outbound Email Servers belonging to the College of Computing

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?

This issue started at 03:00:00 PM EST on October 20th, 2022. This has prevented emails on a specific outbound email server to not send emails.

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?

Emergency maintenance has caused a malfunction of one of the outbound email servers.

WHO IS AFFECTED? All users using any service that is configured to the College of Computing outbound email servers. 

Affected services: Mopiers, Mailman Group Email List, Request Tracker (RT) may not have sent outbound messages or emails to customers or individuals. 

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?

Please do not attempt to send duplicate messages. All messages are currently stored inside the affected outbound email server and will be released when the issue is resolved.
