OIT has resolved the SCP network issue. A VLAN was missing from OIT routers.

WHAT’S HAPPENING?

Some CoC virtual machines were down and some SCP networks are inaccessible.

Affected servers:

  • help.cc.gatech.edu
  • mlta-group-06.cc.gatech.edu
  • sardinia.cc.gatech.edu
  • support.cc.gatech.edu

Affected SCP networks:

  • 128.61.240.0/24
  • 128.61.241.0/24
  • 143.215.130.0/24    

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
The 4 virtual machines were down from around 1:00am to 2:30pm EST, April, 13, 2024. TSO will continue monitor the VMs.

SCP's network went down at 12am, April 13, 2024, and is ongoing issue. TSO has engaged with the Office of Information Technology (OIT) and they are currently investigating the issue.

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?

OIT performed the first of a series of gateway router, border firewall, and ISP connection upgrades and migrations on April 13th from 12am-5am.

WHO IS AFFECTED?

Users of the affected servers and users on the impacted networks.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?

Nothing at this time while OIT and TSO continue to investigate the network issue.
