WHAT HAPPENED?
Multiple CoC mopiers were not working as expected.

WHEN DID IT HAPPEN?
Beginning at approximately 3:25 PM on Monday, December 5, 2016.

WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
Due to the December 5 power outage (see http://support.cc.gatech.edu/alerts/campus-power-outage-0 for details).

WHO WAS AFFECTED?
Some users were unable to authenticate to the mopiers, while others were unable to use the scan and email feature.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action should be required.

HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN RESOLVED?
Partially.  The correction of arakis.cc.gatech.edu and ace.cc.gatech.edu (see http://support.cc.gatech.edu/alerts/partial-coc-email-delivery-delay) restored service to some of the mopiers.  All CCB mopiers were tested as working.  Testing of the TSRB mopiers is underway.  Schroeder.cc.gatech.edu and peppermintpatty.cc.gatech.edu (KACB 2nd & 3rd floor common area mopiers) are currently unable to scan and email.  We're continuing to troubleshoot.  There was also a pre-existing issue with pigpen.cc.gatech.edu (KACB 1st floor mopier) whose touchscreen is beginning to fail.  The Help Desk contacted MSA, and they responded on November 29, 2016.  It's awaiting a replacement part.

WHO SHOULD YOU CONTACT FOR QUESTIONS?
Feel free to contact the TSO Help Desk (CCB 148, 404.894.7065, helpdesk@cc.gatech.edu).

UPDATE:
All TSRB mopiers have been tested as working.  TSO continues to troubleshoot schroeder and peppermintpatty.  As a workaround in the meantime, users can input their GT credentials when prompted to use the scan and email feature.

UPDATE:
Schroeder and peppermintpatty have been returned to normal operations as of 11:00 AM, September 7, 2016.
