WHAT’S HAPPENING?
A new phishing attempt is circulating at Georgia Tech.

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
This latest phishing attempt was first reported 12/10/2023 around 8PM.

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
The email states that the user has a document from HR waiting for them with a link to review the document - the link leads to a fake Georgia Tech login page.

An initial account was compromised, allowing the attacker to send email from Georgia Tech email addresses, increasing the likelihood of tricking users into entering their credentials.
