Update: 5/31/24 6:40pm
Since Atlanta Watershed began work, campus water pressure is holding at 50 psi and the college data center temperature has remained at 75 degrees. TSO staff are leaving campus and will continue to monitor the data center remotely until water break repairs are complete.

WHAT’S HAPPENING?

At 5PM, Atlanta Watershed is planning to begin repairs to a 32-inch water main break at  James P. Brawley and Joseph E. Boone, located southwest of the Institute. GT Facilities is not sure of the impact to campus, and as such, all facilities should anticipate loss of water pressure and plan appropriately.  TSO is monitoring the college data centers and if necessary, will proactively shut down non-essential servers.

WHO/WHAT IS AFFECTED?

Users of college services in the CCB and KACB data centers.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?

No user action at this time.  Updates will be provided if TSO needs to proceed with further shutdowns.
