WHAT?S HAPPENING?
TSO will remove Outlook users' auto complete email entries. As a result, when an Exchange user types the email address of a non-Exchange user, the email address will not auto complete.

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
The auto complete entries will be removed immediately after users log out and log back into their desktop computer.

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
To avoid Exchange users receiving erroneous bounce back messages after sending email to non-Exchange users.

In preparation for the Exchange 2010 migration, TSO performed a major ?clean up? in the Exchange environment. This included removing non-Exchange user contacts and mailboxes that are no longer needed.

WHO IS AFFECTED?
Outlook and Exchange users.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
Outlook and Exchange users should log out and log back into their desktop computer.

In Outlook, when sending email to a user, please type in the user's full email address (i.e. uwanna@cc.gatech.edu) to rebuild your auto complete file.
